This homework is optional
Students, I am changing the homework to optional. I was reminded that I had NOT, actually assigned homework in class. If you have not completed it, do not worry. If you have, great, extra practice and extra knowledge!
The homework is actually exactly the same as homework due last class period, except you are supposed to choose a different passage.
-Go to www.ushistory.org.
-Chose a topic or time period in history that interests you (different from the one you previously chose), and read that topic and sub-topics. Write at 2-3 paragraph summary of your topic (NOT to exceed a half a page). You might share your summary with your classmates during the next class period. **Please, please, please, keep your summary brief. Do NOT write more than half a page! And don't try writing in very small letters so you can squish more.**
-When you hand in your paper, you must write the following:
-Your name
-The group you are in (1, 2, or 3)
-The number and topic you chose. (For example, if I chose to read about slavery, my number and topic would read like this: "Topic number 27. The Peculiar Institution")
